Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Overnight at Twiga Lodge
Your safari adventure begins as you leave Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full day of game viewing as you traverse the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Tarangire’s rivers and wetlands attract an abundance of animals, making it an excellent spot for photography. After an exciting day, you’ll head to Twiga Lodge for a relaxing evening, where you can enjoy the serene atmosphere and a delicious dinner.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day – Overnight at Twiga Lodge
After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and hyenas. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, which is dotted with forests, lakes, and grassy plains that create a haven for a wide range of wildlife. By late afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater walls and return to Twiga Lodge for a second night of relaxation and comfort.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Drop-off at Arusha
On your final day, after breakfast, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its lush scenery, alkaline lake, and diverse wildlife. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and hundreds of bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers.
