Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Transfer to Arusha
After your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by a Focus Mission Safaris Tanzania guide and transferred to your accommodation at Summit Lodge in Arusha. This day is for you to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. You’ll meet your fellow group members and receive a briefing from your guide.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
- Drive Time: 6-7 hours
Early in the morning, after breakfast, your group will depart from Arusha and head towards Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arriving at the Serengeti, you’ll begin a full-day game drive, where you’ll witness the park’s incredible wildlife, including the Big Five.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the savannah while surrounded by the vast plains of the Serengeti. In the evening, head to your campsite, where your cook will prepare dinner, and you’ll enjoy an authentic camping experience under the African stars.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Drive Time: 3-4 hours

Day 5: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha
