Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll embark on a scenic drive through the lush highlands, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the famed Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a packed lunch en route and your first game drive in the afternoon as you enter the park.
The Serengeti’s endless plains are home to some of the most incredible wildlife in Africa. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration—where wildebeests and zebras travel in their thousands across the plains—or spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos.
As the sun sets, you’ll arrive at your mid-range tented lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and relax under the African sky.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Wake up early to the sounds of nature for a full day of adventure in the Serengeti National Park. Early mornings are the best time to spot predators such as lions and leopards hunting in the cool hours of the day. As you explore the diverse landscape, you’ll see herds of gazelles, elephants, and giraffes dotting the plains, while hippos wallow in the rivers.
After lunch at a scenic picnic spot, continue with your afternoon game drive, searching for cheetahs, zebras, and the majestic baobab trees that line the horizon.
As the day draws to a close, head back to your tented lodge for another night of comfort in the wilderness, reflecting on the day’s adventures around the dinner table.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start the day with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll have more opportunities to see wildlife in action. After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the way, you’ll visit a Masai Boma (village) to gain insight into the traditional lives of the Masai people. Learn about their customs, traditions, and daily routines, and perhaps join in their famous jumping dance or watch as they herd their cattle.
In the late afternoon, you’ll check in to your lodge on the crater rim, offering spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife.

Day 4: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater’s rich volcanic floor is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino.
Your guide will lead you through the crater’s diverse habitats, from forested areas to swampy regions and grasslands, all teeming with life. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, watching the animals as they go about their day in this remarkable natural wonder.
In the late afternoon, after a fulfilling day of exploration, you’ll ascend the crater rim and begin the drive back to Arusha. You’ll arrive in the evening, with a drop-off at Arusha Airport or at your hotel in Arusha town.
